Implementation Overview
Implementing a Selltis system typically takes days, not months or years. Because
our software was developed specifically for industrial sales teams, many industry-specific
features, terms and processes have been incorporated into the package as standard
features. Also, our personnel have business and sales expertise in our customers'
industries. Therefore, you don't have to pay to educate us on your business and
selling environment. This drastically reduces the need for extensive consultations
and customizations, which save you time and money. Our implementation process centers
around a well organized, step-by-step plan. Early in the sales process, our sales
consultants work with you to review the process and clearly define tasks and due
dates. With a set plan and clearly defined responsibilities, the implementation
proceeds in an orderly and efficient manner. All tasks ranging from data imports
to final user training are scheduled. And since many tasks are under your control,
you have the ability to throttle the progression - as quickly or as slowly as you're
comfortable with. From purchase date to final training, our implementations average
less than 30 days. Implementation Steps
- Strategy/Planning. Our implementation team will review with you
the key goals for implementing Selltis and specific strategy we will take during
the weeks leading up to the roll-out. Tasks and due dates will be assigned.
- Data import. To speed up the implementation, we import the data
from your existing databases including: accounts, contacts, lists of employees,
lists of resources, products and models (SKUs), and other pertinent data. The implementation
team will review the best strategy for collecting, reviewing and submitting the
data to us.
- Pre-training Review. Key members of the implementation team will
review the final release of Selltis with your data imported and go over any workflow
or training issues.
- User training. Our user training consists of practical, hands-on
topics that enable your users to be proficient in the main features of Selltis within
hours. We recommend another training session after a full implementation to all
users.
Initial User Training
We recommend giving all users a two-day training session in groups of up to 25 users
per session. After the solution has been used for several months, we recommend another
1-day or 2-day training session that covers advanced topics and provides answers
to users' questions. We are committed to making our every implementation a success.
Toward that end, we offer to be involved with the implementation as much as you
want or need us to be.
